iPhone : Measuring net calories with the iPhone app (FAQs)

<p>Calorie Count's iPhone app includes a net calorie scale for determining how many excess calories have been burned vs consumed (or vice-versa).  The net calories screen is available by clicking the "Calories" header on the dashboard.</p> <p>The activity portion (left-hand side) of the scale includes "assumed" calories which are based upon your personal metabolic data and assumed activity expenditure determined from your activity level.  The activity portion also includes a "logged" calories contribution, representing the calories burned for the activities explicitly logged in your activity log.</p> <p>The indicator specifies if the net calories will result in weight loss (deficit), weight gain (excess), or weight maintenance (unchanged).</p>
