Recipe Ingredients for Cavatelli

1 link, 4/lb Sausage, Italian, Pork, Cooked
8 oz Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
5 oz Dreamfields Penne Rigate
5 ounce Dreamfields Rotini
5 oz Dreamfields Elbows
9 serving Sliced Low Moisture Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese
2 cup Cheese
20 oz Spaghetti Sauce Roasted Garlic and Onion

Recipe Directions for Cavatelli

  1. Boil pasta. Brown hamburger and italian sauasage together.

  2. Layer spaghetti sauce on the bottom of a 13x9 pan. Add half of the pasta and cover with sauce, all of the meat and half of the shredded cheese.

  3. Add the rest of the pasta on top of that layer, cover with the remaining sauce and shredded cheese. Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 minutes to melt the cheese.

  4. Once that''s done, add the sliced cheese along the top. Turn the oven to broil and melt the sliced cheese. It goes quickly so make sure to keep an eye on it so the cheese doesn't burn.
