Just like regular, but this uses cauliflower rather than Mashed potatoes for topping

Recipe Ingredients for Cauliflower topped Sheperd's pie

900 g regular ground beef
325 g mushrooms
2 T flour or gravy mix
900 g steamed cauliflower
1/4 cup light cream cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter
60 g shredded mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Cauliflower topped Sheperd's pie

  1. Cut cauliflower into small pieces, steam for approximately 25 min over low simmer or until it becomes mushy. Use a hand mixer to mush it up more, add cream cheese, butter, and spices.

  2. Fry ground beef, drain grease, add mushrooms to saute, add desired spices, i use onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.

  3. Place beef on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish or equivalent, use a spatula to evenly distribute cauliflower mixture on the top of beef. Concentrate on sealing the edges of the pan with cauliflower so that the meat juices do not leak out the top,
