Recipe Ingredients for Cauliflower Salad

6 c. cauliflower (1 head)
6 c. lettuce (1 head)
1 cup onion, red, thinly sliced
1 lb. bacon, crumbled
2 1/2 c. light mayonnaise
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Cauliflower Salad

  1. Shred a head of iceberg lettuce and layer into the bottom of a large bowl.

  2. Separate the head of cauliflower into bitesize flowerettes laying atop the lettuce.

  3. Thinly slice one red onion and add as the next layer.

  4. Crumble bacon as your next layer.

  5. Top with mayo (do not use Miracle Whip). Sprinkle sugar over mayo and add freshly grated parmesan chsses.

  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Stir thoroughly to combie ingredients before serving.
