Recipe Ingredients for Cauliflower Potato Mash

1 head of cauliflower
3 baking potatoes
1/2 cup 1% milk
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp. olive oil

Recipe Directions for Cauliflower Potato Mash

  1. Place the cauliflower in a steamer pot or a pot with a steamer basket and add water to the pot.

  2. Cook the cauliflower until fork tender (6-8 minutes)

  3. Peel and dice 3 potatoes and submerge in water and cook on a low simmer for 20 minutes or until fork tender.

  4. Once cauliflower and potato have both been drained, place in a mixing bowl and add remaining ingredients.

  5. With a hand mixer or food processor, whip until desired consistency is reached.
