Recipe Ingredients for Cauliflower garlic soup

1 head, medium (5-6" dia) Cauliflower
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
9 cloves Garlic
7.5 grams Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 tsp Vegeta Gourmet Seasoning
1 tbsp Butter
1 tablespoon Sage

Recipe Directions for Cauliflower garlic soup

  1. Drizzle cauliflower, garlic, and sage with olive oil and roast at 400F for 15 minutes; remove cauliflower and let garlic continue to roast for 25-30 minutes total.

  2. In pot, melt butter, then sautee onions until tender, about 10 minutes. Add flour, salt, and pepper, and stir until flour has been combined with onion mixture.

  3. Add two and a half cups broth (veggie or chicken, hence the use of vegeta) and allow to boil.

  4. Once boiling, add in cauliflower, garlic, sage, and peeled boiled potato. Allow to simmer for additional five minutes before blending till smooth.

  5. If desired, stir in 1//3 c cream or evaporated milk after the soup has been blended, reheating only until warm. (This will alter the nutritional value!)
