Recipe Ingredients for Cauliflower cheese (just add milk)

40 g butter
40 g flour
115 g cheddar cheese
740 g cauliflower

Recipe Directions for Cauliflower cheese (just add milk)

  1. preheat oven to 175C

  2. boil cauliflower until tender, drain, keep warm

  3. melt butter

  4. add flour, cook until smooth

  5. add milk gradually, stirring as you do - avoid lumps

  6. remove sauce from heat just below the boil and stir in cheese

  7. assemble cauliflower in casserole dish, pour cheese sauce over

  8. heat in oven for 25 minutes, until slightly browned on top

  9. NOTE:

  10. You may add a little dry mustard and a dash of tabasco to the cheese sauce if you like things a little spicier. A sprinkling of cayenne or paprika also looks good,
