Meat lasagne with a white cheese sauce as a topper

Recipe Ingredients for Cathy's Lasagne

285 grams pasta
1 1/2 lbs beef, ground, 95% lean
84 ounces tomatoes, crushed
2 tbsp olive oil
4 stalks celery
2 1/4 carrots
1 1/4 onions
2 cups milk
95 grams parmesan cheese
1/2 egg
1 cup flour

Recipe Directions for Cathy's Lasagne

  1. Cook beef in medium pan

  2. Saute the celery, carrots and onions in 2 tbsp of olive oil

  3. Add salt and pepper and other spiced to taste

  4. When the beef ad veggies are cooked, layer the pasta and filling in an ungreased baking pan

  5. For the white sauce: Heat the milk and gradually add in the cheese and flour until thickened

  6. Bake at 350F for 1.5hrs
