Recipe Ingredients for Catherine's Mac n Cheese

3 cups macaroni noodles, uncooked
1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. butter
1 cup milk, 2%
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Recipe Directions for Catherine's Mac n Cheese

  1. Book noodles, drain, and set aside.

  2. Make a roux out of the butter and flour, until lightly browned.

  3. Add milk and continue cooking and frequently stirring until thickened.

  4. Remove from heat and add the cheese, stirring until melted.

  5. Pour over the cooked noodles with salt and pepper and stir until combined. Serve hot.
