Makes 4 servings



Easy calzone-type meal if you add a salad. I also add any veggies I have, mushrooms, tomatoes, zuchini. You can change the cheese to FF Moz or FF cottage cheese. It's all good!

Recipe Ingredients for Casual Calzone

1 lb lean ground beef
1 crescent rolls, pilsbury reduced fat
4 oz ricotta cheese, fat free

Recipe Directions for Casual Calzone

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350. Ground the lean beef. Add onions and garlic if you wish. Add oregano and basil or italian herb mix.

  2. 2.Meanwhile, Roll out four Crescent rolls onto nonsitck pan. Strecth out as wide as you can without tearing. Don't use spray, it is too hard to work with.

  3. 3. Top rolls with cooked meat, cheese and any other veggies you wish. Veggies are so good for you!

  4. 4. Spread out remaining four rolls over toppings, strectching the edges out and pinching it closed around the edges.

  5. 5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
