a modified T factor recipe(also note noodles should actually ready whole wheat lasagna noodles)

Recipe Ingredients for Cass's Spinach Lasagna

1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
6 tsp Garlic
1 tbsp Olive Oil
0.188 cup (8 fl oz) Water
600 grams Light Ricotta Cheese
0.25 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
300 grams Spinach
1 large Egg, Whole
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tbsp Parsley, Dried
500 grams Macaroni, Whole-wheat, Cooked
6 oz Cheese Mozzarella Shredded
6 cup Tomato Products

Recipe Directions for Cass's Spinach Lasagna

  1. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil-adding water to keep from sticking.

  2. Combine ricotta, parmasan,spinach, egg, black pepper, parsley and sauted onion and garlic, mixing well.

  3. Cook lasagna according to package.

  4. Lightly spray a 13x9x2 casserole with cooking spray. Arrange a layer of noodles on bottom - top with 1/3 ricotta mixture, sprinkle with mozzarella and spread sauce. Repeat layers twice more, ending with sauce.

  5. Cover pan with aluminum foil, crimping edges tightly. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10-15 minutes longer.
