Recipe Ingredients for Cassies Classic Oven Stew

600 grams beef stew meat
1 medium onion, chopped
4 oz. tomato paste
200 grams carrots, chunked
500 grams potatoes, chunked
1 cup beef broth
200 gram frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Cassies Classic Oven Stew

  1. Put stew meat and vegetables into a large ovenproof cassaarole dish or roaster. Pour tomato paste and broth over top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover

  2. Put in oven at 325 degrees and roast, with mixing half way through cooking, for 3 - 4 hours.
