Recipe Ingredients for Casserole, Sausage

1 pound pork sausage
1/2 cup onion, chopped
10 3/4 ounce mushroom soup
2 cups egg noodles, cooked
8 ounces evaporated milk
4 tablespoons water
1 cup cheddar cheese, cut into 3/4 inch cubes

TOPPING:
2 cups bread crumbs
1/4 pound butter

Recipe Directions for Casserole, Sausage

  1. Cook sausage, drain off drippings.

  2. In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients (except the bread crumb topping), mix well.

  3. Put mixture into buttered casserole dish.

  4. Melt butter, mix with bread crumbs, top casserole with this mixture.

  5. Bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes.
