A pasta and hamburger casserole, moistened with condensed soup. Veggies other than broccoli may be used. Italian 4-cheese mix from Kraft is a delicious alternative to cheddar, and requires less to get a full flavour.

Recipe Ingredients for Casserole

2 cups macaroni
1 small onion, chopped
1 lb hamburger, browned
1 tbsp garlic powder
10 oz cream of mushroom soup
2 cup broccoli, chopped and steamed
2 cup mozzarella, grated

Recipe Directions for Casserole

  1. Throw chopped onion in boiling water with pasta, and cook until macaroni is tender. Meanwhile, add garlic powder to hamburger, and brown in frying pan over medium heat.

  2. Brocolli may be steamed in microwave, added to hamburger, or boiled on the stove as desired.

  3. Drain fat from hamburger and water from pasta, and mix togther along with veggies and chicken soup.

  4. Place mixture into 9x12 baking dish and top with cheese. Cook under broiler until cheese is bubbly, and serve.
