Cashew milk is a great unprocessed substitue for cows milk, soy milk, and chemical ladened alternative milks you can buy at the store. It only takes a few minutes to prepare, after some thoughtful preparation. Try it in smoothes, on cereal, instead of dairy in your coffee or tea, or warmed for a nice cuddly sweet before bed.

Recipe Ingredients for Cashew Milk

1 cup raw cashews
5 cups water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey

Recipe Directions for Cashew Milk

  1. Soak cashews overnight in plenty of filtered water. Drain and rinse.

  2. Blend cashews with very little water to start to get the best texture. Add remaining water, honey, and cinnamon.

  3. Keep refrigerated, shake well before using. Keeps 4-6 days.
