Vegan cheese substitute. Reminiscent of pimento cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Cashew Cheese

1 large red bell pepper
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup tamari
1 cup cashew pieces

Recipe Directions for Cashew Cheese

  1. Grind first 3 ingredients to smooth in a food processor.

  2. Drop in cashews one a time until consistency is thick.

  3. Add water to thin if necessary to get adequate cashew to pepper ratio.
