Vegan, relatively low sugar, low fat breakfast bars

Recipe Ingredients for carrot oatmeal orange BARS

2 cups whole grain flour
3 cups rolled oats
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 cup soy milk
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp orange zest
1/4 cup oil
7 medium carrots

Recipe Directions for carrot oatmeal orange BARS

  1. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.

  2. Mix wet ingredients in separate bowl.

  3. Add wet to dry, then fold in carrots.

  4. Spread into cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes at 400.
