This is a "starter" recipe for you to dream up your own "veggie burger." Experiment with adding spices you like, other veggies you like (muhrooms, bell peppers), and/or caned beans you like). That way you can "tweak" it to your own taste, and make veggie burgers at home that are far more affordable than the frozen ones at the store!

Recipe Ingredients for Carrot Burgers

1 1/2 cup Shredded Carrots
2 cup Bran Flakes
2 large Egg, Whole
1/4 cup, diced Celery
1 tbsp chopped Onions
0.13 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tbsp Canola Oil
2 1tsp Olive Oil
6 serving Classic Soft 100% Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns

Recipe Directions for Carrot Burgers

Place carrots in a saucepan with a small amount of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cove and cook 5 minutes or until tender; drain. In a bowl, combien carrots, bran flakes, eggs, celery, onion, and pepper; mix well. For into six patties. heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; coo patties for 3 minutes on each side or until browned. Serve each patty on a whole grain hamburger bun.
