A healty cake for your sweet cravings! (You can make it with no honey, which made it too sweet for me.)

Recipe Ingredients for Carrot and Apple Cake

3 apples, diced, cooked
3 carrots, diced, cooked
1 cup raisins, cooked
1 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons virgin olive oil
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup white flour
1/2 cup walnuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for Carrot and Apple Cake

  1. Cook apples, carrots and raisins in water.

  2. Puree them.

  3. Add olive oil, honey and spices, mix.

  4. Add rolled oats, mix.

  5. Mix flour and baking soda and add to the mixture.

  6. Add walnuts.

  7. Oil the baking tray and spread it evenly.

  8. Bake at 170 degrees (celcius, or 340 fahrenheit).
