Crock pot dish...not too bad, really needs the fresh ginger. Filling.

Recipe Ingredients for Carribean Pork and Yams

1 1/2 pounds boneless pork ribs
1 1/2 lbs yams
2 large onions
3 garlic cloves
3 T ginger, grated
3/4 c. chicken stock
1/3 c balsamic vinegar
1/3 c rum
1/3 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Carribean Pork and Yams

  1. Cube and brown pork

  2. saute onions, spices and garlic

  3. Chunk yams.

  4. Put yams in crock pot, then pork, then veggies.

  5. Mix other ingredients together, stir well to dissolve sugar. Pour over meat etc. Crock pot high 3-4 hrs low 6-8.
