Southern style okra and tomatoes, fresh from the farm stand.

Recipe Ingredients for Carol's Okra and Tomatoes

14 1/2 oz Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
1 []
20 pieces Whole Okra
1 medium Green Bell Pepper
1 tbsp Onions, Dehydrated Flakes
2 tsp Quality Spices Cumin
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 cup Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Salsa

Recipe Directions for Carol's Okra and Tomatoes

In a saucepan, put diced tomatoes, salsa, dehydrated onion flakes, and seasonings. Cut tops off of fresh okra and slice pods into 1/2 inch pieces and add to tomatoes. Chop bell pepper and add to tomatoes. Bring mixture to a boil; simmer for 15 minutes. Add lemon juice just before serving.
