Easy, way better for you than the restaurant style, and really, REALLY good.

Recipe Ingredients for Carnitas

1 1/2 lbs pork loin, trimmed and cut into 3/4" cubes
1 c chicken broth
1 tsp kosher salt

Recipe Directions for Carnitas

  1. Add pork loin and broth to slow cooker. Cook over low heat for 6-8 hours.

  2. Add pork mixture and salt to saute pan over medium high heat. Use a fork to shred pork pieces as it cooks.

  3. Remove from heat once all the liquid has cooked away. Serve with corn tortillas and fresh pico de gallo.
