1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sugar

  1. Sautee onions, add the sugar and cook for a bit. Add the vinegar and cook a bit.

  2. Blanch asparagus

  3. Add asparagus to onions, cook just long enough to raise the temperature of the asparagus.
