5 oz slivered almonds
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar

  1. toast almonds in frying pan on medium heat until light brown (stir constantly)

  2. add butter and sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.

  3. transfer to plate to cool.
