Delicious and healthy tri-colored pasta salad. Was a favorite at the church picnic.

Recipe Ingredients for Carlaa's Best Pasta Salad

1 lb pasta
1 green pepper
1 onion
2 oz black olives
1 cup fat free italian dressing
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp dried basil
4 oz Turkey sausage
1/2 lb grape tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Carlaa's Best Pasta Salad

  1. cook pasta until done, drain and rinse with cold water.

  2. chop onion and green pepper

  3. add 2 oz can sliced black olives

  4. handful of grape or chopped tomatoes

  5. 1 tsp dried sweet basil

  6. 1/4 cup olive oil

  7. 1 cup fat free ceasar italian dressing

  8. toss and chill

  9. salt and pepper to taste
