Simple pasta dish that takes just minutes to prepare. Can adjust any ingredient to your desired amount

Recipe Ingredients for Carbonara

1/2 cup Prosciutto
1/2 cup diced onion
3 clove garlic minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 ounces whole wheat pasta
1 egg
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Carbonara

  1. ?Heat saute pan on med high heat and add onions, once they begin to sweat, reduce heat to med add garlic and prosciutto. Cook until onions are translucent.

  2. ?Bring water to a boil and add capellini pasta and cook for 8 minutes or until al' dente. Remove from heat, strain and reserve some of the water.

  3. ?In the pasta pot, return the pasta and add the onion parma mix. Add egg and cheese and mix. can use some of the pasta water to thin if necessary
