Bow tie pasta in a cream sauce with bacon and peas

Recipe Ingredients for Carbonara

1 lb of bow tie pasta
1 lb of frozen peas
1/3 lb of bacon
1/2 of large onion
1/2 cup 2% milk
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/2 lb of cream cheese

Recipe Directions for Carbonara

Start out by boiling the pasta. While pasta is boiling dice bacon into one inch pieces. Take the bacon and fry in a shallow sauce pan. When the bacon is almost finished frying drain excess grease. While the bacon is finishing frying take the onion and dice it and add to the bacon. Cook the onions to a translucent state. Then add 1 box of diced cream cheese and half of the milk. Continue heating and adding the rest of the milk to achieve a nice thick sauce. Add the peas, salt, and pepper to sauce. When the peas are heated you may mix in the cooked pasta and serve.
