Recipe Ingredients for caramel popcorn

20 cups popcorn
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for caramel popcorn

  1. Spread popped corn on baking sheets

  2. In large saucepan mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup

  3. Boil for 5 minutes and remove from heat

  4. Add baking soda, vanilla and salt and stir well

  5. Pour caramel mixture over corn and mix well

  6. Bake at 250 degrees for 40 minutes

  7. Stir every 15 minutes

  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool before breaking up into clusters
