The best homemade caramel corn ever!

Recipe Ingredients for Caramel Corn

24 cups popped popcorn
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Caramel Corn

  1. Pop the popcorn and place in large roasting pan (must have enough room to stir).

  2. Heat to boil brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup.

  3. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  4. Stir in the vanilla, salt & baking soda - in that order. It will foam when the baking soda is added. Stir.

  5. Pour over popcorn stirring to coat.

  6. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
