Caramel Corn Recipe

though its not particularily healthy, its one of my favourites!

Recipe Ingredients for Caramel Corn

100 g popping corn
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for Caramel Corn

  1. Heat oven to 200* F

  2. In saucepan heat margarine, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt stirring occasionally until it bubbles around the edges without burning the sugar.

  3. Carefully remove from heat and stir in baking soda until foamy.

  4. Pour over top of popped corn and stir until well coated.

  5. Spead evenly over a non greased pan

  6. Bake about 1 (one) hour in oven.

  7. Store in an airtight container when thoroughly cooled
