Recipe Ingredients for Caramel Apple Pork Chops

16 oz boneless pork chops
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 dash of salt
1 dash of pepper
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp buttery spread
2 medium tart apples

Recipe Directions for Caramel Apple Pork Chops

  1. Heat skillet over medium high heat. Saute pork chops, 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally, until both sides are evenly browned. Remove; keep warm.

  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  3. Add buttery spread to skillet. Stir brown sugar mixture and apples. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or just until the apples are tender. Remove apples with a slotted spoon and arrange ontop of chops. Keep warm.

  4. Continue cooking mixture in skillet, uncovered, until sauce thickens slightly. Spoon sauce over apples and chops. Sprinkle with pecans
