Traditional tomato and mozzarella salad

Recipe Ingredients for Caprese Salad

1 large tomato, sliced (or 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes, halved)
3 ounces fresh mozarella cheese, sliced or balls
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
4 leaves fresh basil, sliced
1 salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Caprese Salad

Slice tomato (or halve cherry tomatoes). Slice mozarella (or half mini fresh mozarella balls). Alternate tomato and mozarella on plate. Aprinkle with salt, pepper, and basil slices. Drizzle with olive oil. Serves 2.
