Salad with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and olives! Italian classic!

Recipe Ingredients for Caprese Salad

1 tomato
1 cup fresh basil
1/2 cup mozzarella pearls
1/2 cup kalamata olives
4 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Caprese Salad

  1. Slice tomatoes into bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl.

  2. Break apart basil and strew throughout the bowl.

  3. Break apart mozzarella pearls and scatter them throughout the bowl.

  4. Plop the kalamata olives all over the salad.

  5. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.

  6. (I like to add some toasted garlic to this... it adds a yummy flavor.)
