Recipe Ingredients for Cape curried pot pie

600 grams Potatoes, White, Flesh And Skin
300 grams Sweetpotato
150 grams Carrots
150 grams Parsnips
60 grams 2% Partly Skimmed Milk
13.9 grams Butter
1 1tsp Olive Oil
8 thigh, bone removed Chicken, Thigh
4 pepper Peppers, Hot Chili, Red
28 grams Curry Paste
25 grams Raisins, Seedless
1 large Egg, Whole
100 grams 2% Milk Reduced Fat Mild Cheddar

Recipe Directions for Cape curried pot pie

  1. Skin and cube root vegetables and place in saucepan of cold water. Bring to boil and leave until all chinks are tender.

  2. Remove thighs from bones, chop onion and chilis.

  3. Fry onion, chilis and curry paste until the onion is done. Add chicken and brown.

  4. Add egg.

  5. drain root vegetables and mash with milk and butter.

  6. Spread chicken mixture in the pie pot and spread msh evenly on top.

  7. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

  8. Place in oven at 350 F until cheese is golden.
