Plaintain stuffed with ground beef served with rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Canoas

1 serving ( 3 oz ) Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
2 medium Plantains
2 slice Singles Cheese Product
1 serving, raw Cilantro

Recipe Directions for Canoas

  1. Season and cook ground beef to tase. Boil whole plantain until they are 3/4 done, peel halfway so that the peel is on the bottom half of the plantain, slit the plaintain lengthwise and stuff it with your seasoned (already cooked) groundbeef (you may mix in cheese if you'd like). Put stuffed plantain in the oven on top of foil and bake until plantain in cooked throughally (soft) and has a golden brown color. top with cheese let it melt..

  2. Boil basmati (or any kind of rice) and season to taste (or not)...and serve it on the side.

  3. Enjoy!
