Recipe Ingredients for Cannellini and Cabbage Soup

30 oz Cannellini White Kidney Beans
1 tbsp Olive Oil
6 cup, chopped Cabbage
2 oz Carrots
6 clove Garlic
1/4 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
1 tsp, leaves(1 g) Thyme, Dried
4 serving Chicken Granulated Bouillion, Sodium Free
14 1/2 oz Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
6 oz Tomato Paste No Salt Added
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Cannellini and Cabbage Soup

  1. In large pot, heat olive oil over high heat. Add cabbage, carrots, garlic, thyme, and cayenne red pepper. Cook 2 to 3 minutes.

  2. Dissolve bouillon in 28 oz of water. Add to cabbage mixture. Add undrained tomatoes, water, and tomato paste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 8 minutes.

  3. Mash half the beans with a fork. Add all the beans to the pot. Heat through and serve.
