This is a White Bean Dip that's great with pita chips. It tastes a bit like pesto, so adding grated Parmesan w/b delicious if you're ok with the extra calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Cannellini Bean, Basil & Garlic Dip

16 oz. cannellini beans
2 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup basil leaves

Recipe Directions for Cannellini Bean, Basil & Garlic Dip

  1. In the bowl of a food processor add; beans, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and basil.

  2. Pulse until pureed.

  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Cover and refrigerate. Can be made several days in advance.
