6 cups beans 5 LT water 2 cups Tomato Juice 1 Onion 1/2 cup lard 3 tbsp salt

Recipe Ingredients for Canned homemade Beans

6 cup Beans, Pinto, Mature Seeds
1 large Onions
1/2 cup Lard
2 cup Tomato Juice
3 tbsp Salt, Table
20 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Canned homemade Beans

Wash beans. Put them in a presure cooker, add the water and the onion (whole). Cook untill the the 15 PSI (presure controll bell) starts to shake, then turn the fire down all the way to low, and cook like that for 30 min. Wait for all the presure to get out, then liquify the whole cooked onion with the tomato juice and add it to the beans. Add salt lard and let it cook unconvered for another 10 minutes. Poure into canning glasses. Let cool off and store in the fridge for up to a month, great for quik meals. fresh as just made.
