Recipe Ingredients for candied oj french toast

2 large Egg, White
1/2 serving vanilla almond milk
3/20 tbsp Flax Seed
8 fl oz Orange 100% Juice Calcium Fortified
3 medium (2" dia, 5" long, raw) Sweetpotato
1 cup, unpacked Sugars, Brown
2 serving blue bonnet margarine
8 serving l'oven fresh whole grain white bread

Recipe Directions for candied oj french toast

  1. bake 3 pureed sweet potatoes with 1 cup of oj concentrate, 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1T of margarine at 350 for 45 minutes. (can be eaten alone and used next day for french toast when chilled).

  2. blend 1 cup of sweet potato casserole with 2 egg whites and 1/2 cup of milk. (can be used with any type of milk)

  3. coat bread on both sides, sprinkling tops with 1t of ground flax seed. cook until golden.
