Recipe Ingredients for Canadian Bacon Tart

4 large Egg, Whole
0.5 cup Egg, White
1 cup Organic Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup Almond Meal/Flour
8 tbsp Organic Butter
2 oz Parsley
1 tsp Thyme, Fresh
8 serving Sea Salt
1 oz Water
2 cup Leeks, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
1 cup Spinach
9 oz Canadian Style Bacon

Recipe Directions for Canadian Bacon Tart

  1. 1. Mix in food processor whole wheat flour and almond flour. Add thyme and chopped parsley. Add cold butter cut in cubes. Add 2-3 tbsp of very cold water. Take mixtures and wrap in plastic wrap and put in refrigerator for 20 minutes.

  2. 2. Stir fry in 1 tbsp of olive oil the chopped leeks. Add canadian bacon, sea salt, red pepper flakes and spinach at the end.

  3. 3. Mix 4 eggs with egg whites. add sea salt

  4. 4. flat the crust into quich mold. Make holes with fork. Bake for 12 minutes until golden brown at 400F.

  5. 5. Remove from oven. Add vegetable/canadian bacon mixture.

  6. 6. Add egg mixture and top with muenster cheese.

  7. 7. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes. Put aluminum foil last 10 minutes so it does not burn.
