Canadian Bacon and Parmesan Cheese Popovers

Recipe Ingredients for Canadian Bacon and Parmesan Cheese Popovers

1 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
34 grams Canadian bacon
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chives

Recipe Directions for Canadian Bacon and Parmesan Cheese Popovers

  1. Preheat oven to 450F degrees.

  2. Mix flour and salt together.

  3. Beat egg and milk together.

  4. Mix dry and wet ingredients together until thoroughly blended.

  5. Popovers can be made plain, sweet or savory, depending on taste desired.

  6. Add optional Canadian bacon, parmesan and chives.

  7. Place mixture in greased popover or muffin tins.

  8. Bake for 15 mins. and then turn down oven to 350F degrees. Bake for another 15-20 mins.

  9. Serve immediately.
