Recipe Ingredients for Calves Liver with Sage

8 oz Liver
1/4 cup Bread Crumbs Garlic and Herb
0.13 tsp Sea Salt
1 dash Pepper, Black
0.33 tbsp Sage, Ground
0.5 oz Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
0.67 tbsp Oil Olive Extra Virgin
1 serving Garlic Cloves

Recipe Directions for Calves Liver with Sage

  1. - In a shallow dish, mix bread crumbs, salt, pepper and sage

  2. - Put milk in another shallow dish

  3. - Dip both sides of liver into milk, then in crumb mix, pressing to coat completely

  4. - In a non stick skillet, heat oil and parlic over med heat. Add liver and cook for 4 - 5 min each side or until browned.

  5. - Remove to warm plate and cover

  6. - Stir lemon juice into skillet, simmer, stirring constantly for 2 or 3 min. Pour sauce over liver to serve. Sprinkle with parsley.

  7. Makes 2 servings
