Iced Tea Calories

Healthy iced tea is primarily based on the sugar content. One 8 oz. serving of sweetened iced tea calories is 90 compared to zero in unsweetened iced tea. Sweetened iced tea contains 22 grams of sugar. Dieters should limit consumption of sweetened iced tea to avoid unnecessary calories. Instead, order an unsweetened iced tea and add a low calorie or zero calorie sweeteners.

Iced tea health facts are the same as tea health facts due to the effects of antioxidants and caffeine. However, because iced tea is diluted its positive health effects are slightly lowered.
