If the popular California Roll type of sushi were a sandwich, this is what it would be. I used fresh crab meat because it was on sale, but use canned crab if you prefer.

Recipe Ingredients for California Roll Wraps

3 tbsp. light cream cheese
3 tbsp. plain yogurt, drain liquid
4 green onions, chopped
1/2 lb. crabmeat, fresh or canned
6 flour tortillas, 8-inch
1 cucumber, sliced thinly (matchsticks)

wasabi paste:
1 large avocado, quartered, pitted & thinly sliced

Recipe Directions for California Roll Wraps

  1. Combine yogurt and cream cheese in a small bowl; spread each tortilla with 1 tbsp. of this mixture.

  2. Then sprinkle with chopped green onions and crab, grind pepper to taste.

  3. Top each with 1/6 of the cucumber. Spread a small line of the wasabi mixture down the center of each tortilla (use more or less depending on your taste). Top the wasabi with the avocado slices.

  4. Fold one end of each tortilla up toward the center, then continue to roll until you have a wrap (with the avocado in the center of each wrap). Enjoy!
