Recipe Ingredients for caldo tlalpeno

1 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain
64 fl oz Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
2.3 Serving Chicken
1 medium raw Onion Red
3 pepper Peppers, Hot Chili, Green
2 1tsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
6 tbsp Chipotle Peppers
10 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for caldo tlalpeno

  1. boil broth, chicken, & garlic, reduce heat & simmer for 12 min.

  2. saute chopped onion & pepper for 10 min.

  3. remove chicken from broth. set aside.

  4. add chipote peppers to broth along with some of the onion-peper mix.

  5. puree.

  6. add rice (cooked) and remaining onion-pepper mix.

  7. shred chicken & divide among 4 bowls. add broth & serve.

  8. optional: add lime, cilantro, radish & avocado
