Recipe from the back of the bag of Blue Sea Calamari

Recipe Ingredients for Calamari Salad

2 lbs Blue SeaŽ brand Frozen Calarmi Rings and Tentacles mix
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup red onion, halved lengthwise then thinly sliced crosswise
1/3 cup pitted kalamata olives, halved lengthwise
2 cups tomatoes, chopped
2 stalks celery, cut into 1/4 inch thick pieces
1 cup fresh flat leaf parsley, loosely packed leaves

Recipe Directions for Calamari Salad

  1. Rinse the Blue SeaŽ brand Calamari Rings & Tentacles under cold running water and drain in a colander.

  2. Whisk together lemon juice, vinegar, oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl, then stir in onion and let stand 5 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, combine squid, olives, tomatoes, celery and parsley in a large bowl.

  4. Toss with dressing and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Let stand at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
