Recipe Ingredients for Cajun Sweet & Airy Corn Bread

1 cup Flour
1 cup Corn Meal
1/2 cup Sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup low fat milk
1/4 cup melted butter
2 eggs, beaten

Recipe Directions for Cajun Sweet & Airy Corn Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 450F.

  2. In large bowl, whisk cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Whisk in milk, eggs and butter, blending until lumps are removed. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray or butter. Pour batter into greased pan and bake 20 -25 minutes.
