Spicy Variation. Not your granny's meatloaf, unless you're from LA.

Recipe Ingredients for Cajun Meatloaf

0.5 tsp Bay Leaf
1 tbsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Cayenne
1 tsp Pepper, Black
0.5 tsp Spices Ground White Pepper
0.5 tsp Quality Spices Cumin
0.5 tsp Nutmeg
4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
0.75 cup, chopped Onions
0.5 cup, diced Celery
1 medium Green Bell Peppers
0.25 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
2 cloves, raw Garlic
4 tsp Tabasco Sauce
4 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 cup Milk
8 oz Tomato Ketchup
20 oz Laura's 96% Lean Ground Round
8 oz Lean Ground Pork
2 large Egg, Whole
1.5 cup Bread Crumbs Plain

Recipe Directions for Cajun Meatloaf

Saute veggies and spices in butter. Let cool. Mix ground meat and veggie/spice blend with ketchup, breadcrumbs and egg. Bake at 350 for 30 min and 375 for another 35 min. (in a 9x13 pan. (From Paul Prudhomme's Lousiana Kitchen... steps shortened for time and space)
