A light and delicious way to feed the family scrumptiousness from Louisiana.

Recipe Ingredients for Cajun Chicken and Pasta

2 lb chicken breast
1 lb whole wheat pasta
1 large red bell pepper
1 large yellow onion
1 green onions
2 tbsp cajun seasoning
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan
1 lb asparagus

Recipe Directions for Cajun Chicken and Pasta

Cook whole wheat pasta according to directions and set aside. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and place in nonstick skillet on high. Put a lid on it. Dice onions and add to pan then flip chicken. Cover again with the lid. dice red bell pepper and add to the pan, top with sage and thyme, flip chicken. Add lid. Stem and cut asparagus into bite size chunks. Add to pan. Remove chicken. replace lid. Cut chicken into bite size chunks and add back to pan. stir fry until chicken is cooked through. add pasta and stir until broth is absorbed. Poor into serving bowl and toss with Parmesan. top with parsley and or green onions and serve.
