restaurant table side style. If you made your own croutons, it would be more authentic, but I don't find it adds that much

Recipe Ingredients for Caesar Salad

1 head lettuce, romaine
1 c croutons (Pepperidge Farm Caesar)
1 c cheese, Parmesan, grated
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Worcestershire
1 tsp mustard, Dijon
3 T lemon juice, fresh
3 T olive oil, extra virgin
4 T egg substitute
1 oz. anchovies
2 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Caesar Salad

  1. clean lettuce and tear by hand. Add croutons and 1/2 cheese to salad bowl.

  2. Put remaining ingredients, including 1/4 c Parmesan, except for garlic into blender. Crush garlic and add to blender. Blend well.

  3. NOTE: I use anchovy paste, but it wasn't available for recipe analysis.

  4. Pour over salad and toss well. Serve immediately.
